Why earnings wait for the pay date
There's no pending balance to wait out and no available balance to withdraw. Your earnings are grouped into two pay periods a month and paid automatically on that period's pay date.
How it works
| You earn it | It's paid on |
|---|---|
| The 1st–15th | The 25th of the same month |
| The 16th–end of the month | The 10th of the next month |
Everything you earn in a period is paid together on its pay date, as long as it's at least the 2,000 FanBucks ($20) minimum and your W-9 and bank details are on file. There's no Withdraw button.
Why there's a gap after each period
Each period ends about 10 days before its pay date. That gap exists for three reasons:
- Refunds. A purchase that's refunded before the payout goes out simply comes out of that payout, instead of being clawed back from you later.
- Chargebacks. Many card disputes show up within days of a purchase. The gap catches a lot of them before the money leaves.
- Fraud checks. Suspicious purchases often reveal themselves quickly.
Where to see it
Earnings → Payouts shows the next pay date and the amount so far for the current period. Your payout history shows each past period as Scheduled, Processing, Paid, Held or Failed.
When a payout is held
A period's payout is held instead of paid if it's under the minimum, your W-9 or bank details aren't on file, your bank details changed in the last few days, identity verification isn't finished, or support has paused payouts on your account. Except for a support pause, the held amount rolls into your next payout automatically once the reason is cleared. See Payout schedule.
Before payouts are switched on
Automatic payouts aren't switched on yet. Until they are, the Payouts tab reads "Payouts start soon" instead of a pay date.
Account closure and termination
If you're closing your account, check Earnings → Payouts first. Earnings that haven't been paid yet are still yours — contact support@fansit.com and we'll make sure they reach your bank.
If we close your account for cause (fraud, a zero-tolerance violation), earnings may be held for up to 180 days to absorb any delayed chargebacks. See Creator Terms § 6.
