Becoming a creator takes about 15 minutes — most of which is the identity verification step. Here's the whole flow.

What you need before you start

• A government-issued photo ID — driver's license, state ID, or passport.
• A device with a camera for the selfie liveness check.
• Good lighting for the ID photo and the selfie.
• A U.S. bank account in your verified legal name (you can add this later, but you'll need it before your first payout).
• A W-9 — also can be added later, but it's required before you can add bank details.

Step by step

1. Sign in to your Fansit account (or create one if you don't have one yet).
2. Go to Settings → Become a Creator.
3. Read and accept the Creator Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Confirm whether you intend to upload adult content — this triggers some additional verification, but doesn't affect your earning rate.
5. If you're operating an AI Creator account, designate it now (you can change this later).
6. Start KYC. The Yoti verification flow opens inside Fansit:
   • Take a photo of your ID — front and back.
   • Take a selfie liveness check — Yoti will guide you through the on-screen prompts.
   • Wait a few seconds for the result.
7. Approved! Your account is now a verified creator.

After you're approved

A few things to do immediately:

• Set up your profile — display name, avatar, banner, bio. See Setting Up a Creator Profile That Converts.
• Set your subscription price — minimum 100 FanBucks per month. See Setting Your Subscription Price.
• Add your W-9, then connect your bank account for payouts by bank transfer. Both live in Earnings → Payouts.
• Enable two-factor authentication. All creator accounts should have 2FA.
• Post your first content — see Publishing Your First Post.

What happens to your fan account

Becoming a creator doesn't replace your fan account — it just upgrades it. You can still subscribe to other creators, tip, and unlock PPV from your same login.

How long does verification take?

Usually 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Most KYC results are real-time. If something needs human review (rare), you'll get an email within 24 hours.

Earning starts immediately

Once approved, you can publish content and earn FanBucks the moment a fan tips, subscribes, or unlocks a PPV. Payouts are automatic, twice a month: earnings from the 1st–15th are paid on the 25th, and earnings from the 16th–end of the month are paid on the 10th of the next month, at $0.01 per FanBuck with a 2,000 FanBucks ($20) minimum. There's no Withdraw button.
